Founded by Jamaican native, Mr. Lenard Wilson, Tropical Eat And More(TEAM) is a small but vibrant local restaurant here in Daytona Beach, Florida. Like tinder, the dream of opening a restaurant found root in March of 2019. The frequent visitors and catering requests flowing to Mr. Wilson’s Daytona Beach home were some of the small indicators that the demands had outgrown the space. One after the other, all fell victim to the creative approach to Caribbean dishes we’ve been accustomed to but with greater craving. Interestingly, it does not stop there. He makes it and more… Refining his skills, Mr. Willson draws on inspiration from surrounding cultures infusing the American staples with that of neighboring countries in a unique palette dance all can enjoy.

With over 25 years in the hotel business, Mr. Wilson often pondered his own restaurant endeavors while cultivating his people and management skills. The kitchen was a familiar happy place for his many talents, lending inspiration and guidance to others. A number of his samples and creations graced the hotel’s menu as favorites. Finding success throughout the years as the organizer and overseer of some of the most important corporate and wedding events, the time has now arrived to focus solely on the many creations now known as Tropical Eat and More(TEAM).
